Indian Cove Campground sits at an elevation of 3,200 feet, perfect for viewing the stunning expanse of Joshua Tree Park. The large boulders that surround the camp light up in gorgeous pastel hues at sunrise and sunset, and glow with campfire light by night. You are responsible for transportation to and from the retreat. There is limited parking at the campsite, so carpooling is helpful! All guests will be put in contact before the retreat to coordinate.
SINGLE CAMPING PASS
This grants you entry to the Indian Cove Campground but does not include any camping gear. If you need help finding places to rent gear, assistance can be provided.
DO I NEED TO BE A CERTAIN FITNESS/YOGA LEVEL TO JOIN THIS RETREAT?
This yoga retreat is for all experience levels. Whether you’re a beginner or experienced yoga practitioner you’ll have a beautiful and meaningful weekend.
CAN YOU ACCOMMODATE DIETARY RESTRICTIONS?
The retreat chef will prepare healthy, vegetarian meals, plus coffee/tea in the mornings and evenings. Let us know if you have any special dietary requests, and we can accommodate them.
IS TRANSPORTATION INCLUDED?
You are responsible for transportation to and from the retreat. Only nine vehicles total are allowed to park at the campsite, so we request you carpool if possible. We will connect all guests before the retreat to coordinate. If we have more than nine vehicles, some cars may need to park in a different location and carpool to the site.
Driving: Take Interstate 10 to State Highway 62. Turn south on Indian Cove Road. Follow the road into the campground. If coming from the east, follow Highway 62 approximately seven miles west of the city of Twentynine Palms and turn south onto Indian Cove Road.
You'll carpool to activities during the retreat (ie. sound bath).
IS CAMPING GEAR PROVIDED?
Camping gear is not provided but we can help you find places to rent gear if needed.
WHAT ARE THE AMMENITIES AT OUR CAMPSITE?
This is a large camping area with picnic tables, campfire rings, vault restrooms and limited parking. There are no electric or water hook-ups available at the campsites. We will fill up large water jugs with drinking water at the ranger station 2 miles away at the campground entrance.
WHAT SHOULD WE PACK?
Camping gear, comfortable hiking and yoga clothes, hiking shoes & sandals for at camp, warm layers for at night, flashlight/headlamp, towel or sarong, sunscreen & sunglasses & hat, journal, your own dishes and utensils, reusable water bottle, toiletries & feminine products & medication if needed, good book, any extra snacks and a sense of adventure!
WHERE IS THE CAMPGROUND?
We will be camping at Indian Cove Campground in the group site area. There is no driving access into the main portion of the park from the campground except by hiking trails; entry at other entry points if you choose to adventure on your own requires a park entrance fee of $20 per private vehicle (not included).
